What we collect when you book a consultation, why, and what you can ask of us.

What we collect

When you send the consultation form we receive what you type into it: your name, phone number, email if you give one, suburb and postcode, the rooms and windows you mention, and anything you write in the message box. If you used the One or two? picker first, its result (a blind style, fabric, operation and fit) comes through with the form.

The picker itself runs in your browser. Your six choices are not sent anywhere unless you go on to send the form. Your browser keeps the last result for the length of your visit so the form can show it; closing the tab clears it.

Like most websites, the server also records basic visit information such as the page requested, the time and the country a visit came from, which we use to count visits and keep the site working. When you send the form, it also notes how you found the site (for example, a search engine or a link from another page), which tells us which pages are useful.

Why we collect it

Only to answer your enquiry: to ring you, book a time to measure, and send you a written quote. We may share your enquiry with a suitable local provider to service your request. We do not sell your details, and we do not add you to a mailing list.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to deal with your consultation and quote, and any follow-up you ask for, and then we delete them.

Your choices

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Send the request through the consultation form, saying in the message box that it is a privacy request, and we will reply to the phone number or email you give.

Our handling of personal information follows the Australian Privacy Principles. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Changes

If we change how we handle your details, this page will say so. Last updated November 2026.
